Mitigating climate change, saving the earth, starting with me!
Today (Apr. 22nd) is the “World Earth Day”. As a consultant specialized in the climate change projects, I associate it with the world environment issue, especially the issue of globe warming. The over-emission of CO2 results in the concentration of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) increased and the unwanted climate change caused by this is threatening the human beings’ life.
The United Nations unites each country in the world to carry out GHG emission reduction by implementing “Kyoto Protocol”. Premier Wen in the central government, as the leader of the team, makes great effort to carry out energy saving and emission reduction. How should our enterprises, families and individuals do? We should start now, start with me, do the things around us. Not only will I do but also let’s the people around us do. If people save the energy, they will reduce the GHG emission at the meantime. In the enterprise, people can do more. It can realize large amount of GHG emission reduction by adopting new technology, new techniques, new management methods, and by developing CDM, VER projects as well.
Alarm bell of the global warming is ringing. The earth is facing great challenge. Protecting the earth is to protect our family. Let’s move into action, to save the earth with generous and unselfish love, to maintain the earth for people to live.
